There are three things in Cassi’s professional life that truly bring out her talents; a wicked problem to unpack and simplify, the ability to ask “Why?” an infinite number of times, and the privilege of helping an organisation to shine.
The catalyst for Cassi’s passion for Organisational Culture Change came from the advice of an Indigenous Elder on Mornington Island, North West Queensland, who imparted the wisdom “We need Coaches, not people telling us what to do”. This came during a conversation around the role of non-Indigenous assistance in shaping services on the Island in the future. The advice sparked the transition from Clinician to a journey of understanding and practicing concepts that supported this.
As a Big Picture Conceptualist, the philosophy of the kinetic chain (for example understanding how feet that roll in can exacerbate a underbite) learnt from her days as a Podiatrist has heavily shaped Cassi’s understanding of complex systems, and her passion point being how culture and wellbeing is a key driver of organisational success.
With a background in health, a scientific mind and a creative spark, Cassi draws on her interest in behavioural insights, experience as a leader and love of creative pursuits when connecting the dots and observing themes. Compassionate and a truth teller, Cassi brings positivity and enthusiasm to any project.
