Nic has almost 30 years of experience and expertise supporting staff at all levels of organizations from senior executives to frontline staff, to help improve individual and collective (team) performance and support the development of environments that enable people and organizations to adapt and thrive. This has involved working both internally, in senior learning and development (L&D) and Organizational Development (OD) roles at Credit-Suisse and, also as an external consultant at Seabury Consulting (acquired by Accenture). Since branching out into consulting, clients have ranged from large global enterprises to smaller high growth start-up companies across a wide range of industries, including Financial services, Professional services (Consulting), Technology, Mining, Energy, Agriculture and Aviation. Areas of specialism are working with leaders at the level of their “inner world” (beliefs, worldviews and mindsets) in order to raise consciousness and awareness in order to support the desired organizational culture change and sustainable behaviour change that they seek to see occur in their “outer world” work contexts (behaviours, performance results, impact).
Nic holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Adelaide and a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is also accredited in leadership development instruments (e.g., Hogan, Harthill LDP, Genos EI, MBTI).
After finishing undergraduate studies in Australia, Nic has lived and worked in North America, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions for 30 years and recently returned to Adelaide, Australia. If Nic isn’t coaching, reading, designing or facilitating, you’ll find him climbing a summit on his bike – even if the Adelaide Hills doesn’t have the same riding qualities as the European Alps!
